The S235 Galvanized Pipe is a high-strength, corrosion-resistant steel piping solution widely utilized in industrial and structural applications. Fabricated from S235 grade carbon steel, which conforms to international standards such as EN 10025 and ASTM A53, this pipe undergoes hot-dip galvanization to form a uniform zinc-iron alloy layer on both internal and external surfaces, ensuring exceptional durability in harsh environments. Its mechanical properties, including high tensile strength and excellent impact resistance, make it suitable for pipeline transport, boiler systems, hydraulic/automobile components, oil/gas drilling, and construction frameworks. The galvanized coating provides long-term protection against corrosion, extending service life while reducing maintenance costs. Available in diameters ranging from 21.3mm to 406.4mm and wall thicknesses of 1.2mm to 20mm, the pipe supports customization for specific project requirements, including beveled ends, threading, and plastic-capped protection. With certifications such as ISO 9001, SGS, and BV, and compliance with standards like GB/T 3091 and BS 1387, the S235 Galvanized Pipe is trusted globally for applications spanning municipal water supply, gas distribution, structural scaffolding, and industrial machinery, offering a reliable and cost-effective solution for demanding engineering needs.
Zhongxi Metal is a professional manufacturer engaged in the research, development, production, sale and service., is committed to providing one-stop steel procurement services for global client.

1. Excellent corrosion resistance
Zinc layer protection: The surface of the galvanized pipe is covered with a layer of zinc, forming a physical and electrochemical protective layer, which effectively isolates oxygen and moisture and prevents the steel pipe from rusting.
Sacrificial anode protection: Even if the galvanized layer is partially damaged, the zinc will still corrode preferentially (sacrificial anode effect), protecting the steel pipe substrate from rust.
2. Long service life
In general atmospheric environment, the service life of galvanized pipes can reach 20~50 years (depending on the thickness of the zinc layer and environmental conditions).
Compared with ordinary steel pipes (such as black pipes), galvanized pipes have significantly improved weather resistance, reducing maintenance and replacement frequency.
3. High strength and durability
Galvanized pipes are usually based on carbon steel or low alloy steel (such as Q235, ASTM A53 Gr.B), with high mechanical strength, suitable for load-bearing structures and pressure pipes.
The zinc layer can also provide a certain surface hardness to reduce mechanical damage during transportation and installation.
4. High cost-effectiveness
Low initial cost: The price of galvanized pipes is lower than that of corrosion-resistant materials such as stainless steel and copper pipes.
Low maintenance cost: no need for frequent painting or anti-corrosion treatment, long-term use is more economical.
5. Easy to process and install
Galvanized pipes can be cut, welded, bent and other processes (pay attention to the volatilization of the zinc layer during welding).
Standardized specifications (such as DN15-DN600) and connection methods (threads, flanges, clamps) are easy to construct and install.
6. Environmental protection
Zinc is a recyclable material. Galvanized pipes can be recycled after being scrapped, reducing resource waste.
Long-term use reduces the risk of pipeline leakage and environmental pollution caused by corrosion.

We have our own Physical & Chemical Testing Center Lab to guarantee our product quality. Our test items & instrument fully meet international standards.
1. Construction and Structural Engineering
Scaffolding & Support Structures: Galvanized steel pipes (such as JIS G3444 STK400/500) are widely used in building scaffolding and temporary support frames. They are corrosion-resistant and have strong load-bearing capacity.
Steel Structure Buildings: Roof trusses, purlins, and enclosure structures (such as ASTM A53 Gr.B) used for factories and warehouses.
Roof Drainage System: Galvanized rainwater pipes (such as EN 10255) have good weather resistance and long-term rust prevention.
2. Water Supply and Fire Fighting System
Tap Water Pipes: Low-pressure galvanized steel pipes (such as GB/T 3091 Q235B-Z) are used for municipal water supply and water pipes in buildings (gradually replaced by PPR pipes, but old systems are still common).
Fire Fighting Pipes: Galvanized pipes (such as ASTM A53) are used for fire sprinkler systems. They are pressure-resistant and fireproof.
3. Gas and HVAC Engineering
Gas transmission: Low-pressure galvanized steel pipes (such as GB/T 3091) are used for natural gas and liquefied gas pipelines (must meet explosion-proof requirements).
Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC): Galvanized air ducts (such as ASTM A53) are used for ventilation systems, which are corrosion-resistant and easy to process.
4. Agriculture and greenhouses
Greenhouse frames: Galvanized round or square pipes (such as Q195-Z) are moisture-resistant and rust-proof, suitable for long-term outdoor use.
Irrigation systems: Galvanized pipes are used for water pipelines, which are cheaper than stainless steel.
5. Power and communications
Cable protection pipes: Galvanized wire casings (such as GB/T 3091) protect underground or exposed cables from corrosion and mechanical damage.
Communication towers: Galvanized steel pipes (such as ASTM A53 Gr.B) are used for signal towers and 5G base station structures, which are highly weather-resistant.
6. Industry and machinery
Transportation pipelines: For low-pressure fluid transportation in factories (such as compressed air and lubricating oil), galvanized pipes (such as JIS G3452 SGP-Z) are used.
Machinery equipment frames: Galvanized square/rectangular pipes (such as EN 10305) are used for equipment brackets and guardrails.
7. Transportation and municipal facilities
Road guardrails: Galvanized steel pipes (such as Q235B-Z) are used for highway isolation fences for long-term rust prevention.
Street light poles & traffic sign poles: Galvanized treatment extends outdoor service life.
8. Other special uses
Ships and docks: Some galvanized pipes are used for internal pipes of ships or dock facilities (other anti-corrosion measures are required).
Temporary structures: detachable structures such as exhibition stands and temporary stages, galvanized pipes are easy to reuse.
